The entire Pocono Plateau is rich with things to do and see - that is if you really want to leave camp (which we doubt!). If you would like a free area map and activity guide, e-mail Tim Bongard at tbongard@nepabsa.org. These maps cover the entire Pocono region and include the areas around Camp Acahela and Goose Pond Scout reservation.

Be sure to take advantage of all the support we can bring your program by plugging into ours. We have an extensive list of activities and experiences that will not only keep your boys busy, but help them earn valuable credit towards all sorts of awards, perhaps even walk away with a signed Merit badge card or completed requirement for rank. The program is basically "ala carte" - sign up for only what you want and let us give you the level of support you need. Build and fly model rockets, learn orienteering, geocaching, letterboxing. Do the field work for Fishing or Fly Fishing merit badges, hike our trails, play in our fields, or just kick back and enjoy our camps - you simply can't lose. For more information, click here.
