Water status:  Water system is on to most buildings and sites as of 5/31/09. On weekends, water may only be available at the Pump House.

Road Conditions: All Roads open and clear.

Current Wildfire Risk: LOW - Please keep fires contained in fire circles. DO NOT dump hot ashes from fireplaces or stoves outside - let the fires simply burn completely out.

Restrictions: None at this time.

Goose Pond Scout Reservation near Lake Wallenpaupack, PA surrounds a beautiful 43 acre glacial lake. The 507 acre facility boasts a variety from terrain from heavily wooded ridges and cliffs, to wide open areas around the Pond, to shady groves of ancient fir trees that provide a wide variety of camping opportunities year-round for every type of Scouting unit and an unmatched Boy Scout Resident camping program during the summer months. In the winter we are short drive from Scranton all many other attractions the Poconos region is famous for.

The entire Pocono Plateau is rich with things to do and see - that is if you really want to leave camp (which we doubt!). Energize your weekend with our  FS-RTD!  Programming

    Be sure to take advantage of all the support we can bring your program by plugging into ours. We have an extensive list of activities and experiences that will not only keep your boys busy, but help them earn valuable credit towards all sorts of awards, perhaps even walk away with a signed Merit badge card or completed requirement for rank. The program is basically "ala carte" - sign up for only what you want and let us give you the level of support you need. Build and fly model rockets, learn orienteering, geocaching, letterboxing. Do the field work for Fishing or Fly Fishing merit badges, hike our trails, play in our fields, or just kick back and enjoy our camps - you simply can't lose. For more information, click here.
